Application:

1. To amend the Official Plan for the City of Greater Sudbury to delete from Schedule 6, Transportation Network, the proposed road that extends west and south from 11th Avenue and Main Street in Lively.

2. To amend By-law 2010-100Z being the Zoning By law for the City of Greater Sudbury by changing the zoning classification from "FD”, Future Development and “P”, Park to "R1-5", Low Density Residential One, "R2-2", Low Density Residential Two, "R3-1", Medium Density Residential, "R4”, High Density Residential, and “P”, Park in order to permit the development of a 280 lots for residential use and 8 blocks for multiple residential development.

3. To subdivide the subject property into 280 lots for residential use, 8 blocks for multiple family development, and four (4) blocks for parks and open space uses.

Proposal:

The Official Plan Amendment application proposes to amend Schedule 6 of the Official Plan to delete the proposed road that extends west and south from 11th Avenue and Main Street.

The applicant is also proposing to subdivide the subject property into 210 lots for single detached units, 70 lots for double or semi detached units, seven (7) blocks for 93 row dwellings, and one (1) block for 150 apartments. Four (4) blocks on the draft plan are proposed to be transferred to the City of Greater Sudbury for parks purposes.
