To amend the Official Plan for the City of Greater Sudbury to provide an exception to Sections 5.2.2, 22.80 and 22.81 in order to permit one additional rural lot to be created beyond the seven rural lots permitted to be created from a single parent parcel since the adoption date of the Official Plan on June 14, 2006 as amended by OPA #58 and #64. The application also seeks permission from Council to proceed through the consent process as opposed to a plan of subdivision as described under Section 20.4.1 of the Official Plan.


The application proposes the creation of one additional rural lot beyond the seven rural lots already severed since the adoption date of the Official Plan with both the severed and retained lots each having a minimum lot area of 2 ha (5 acres) with minimum lot frontages of 90 m (295 ft) onto Deschene Road.
