Application:

1. To amend the Official Plan for the City of Greater Sudbury to provide an exception to Section 6.2.2. to permit a severance resulting in a remainder having a lot frontage of less than 90 m (60 m proposed) and a lot area of less than 30 ha (0.809 ha proposed) in the Agricultural Reserve. 2. a) To amend By-law 2010-100Z being the Zoning By-law for the City of Greater Sudbury by changing the zoning classification from “A”, Agricultural to “A(S)”, Agricultural Special with a special exception to allow a parcel with a minimum lot area less than 30.0 hectares and a lot frontage of less than 90.

b) To amend By-law 2010-100Z being the Zoning By-law for the City of Greater Sudbury by changing the zoning classification from “A”, Agricultural to “A(S)”, Agricultural Special with a special exception to permit only agricultural use.

Proposal:

The application proposes a severance and lot consolidation resulting in a remainder having a lot frontage of less than 90 m (60 m proposed) and a lot area of less than 30 ha (0.809 ha proposed). The lands to be consolidated are proposed to be rezoned to permit only agricultural use (no residential use).
