Appointment of Committee Chair and Vice-Chair

Report dated December 14, 2016 from the Executive Director, Administrative Services/City Clerk regarding Appointment of Chair and Vice-Chair - Audit Committee.

Nominations were held for the appointment of Committee Chair:

Councillor Jakubo nominated Councillor McIntosh.

There being no further nominations, nominations were closed.

Councillor McIntosh accepted the nomination.

Nominations were held for the appointment of Committee Vice-Chair:

Councillor McIntosh nominated Councillor Jakubo.

There being no further nominations, nominations were closed.

Councillor Jakubo accepted the nomination.

The following resolution was presented:

AC2017-01 Kirwan/Reynolds: THAT the City of Greater Sudbury appoints Councillor McIntosh as Chair and Councillor Jakubo as Vice-Chair of the Audit Committee for the term ending December 31, 2017.

Report dated December 23, 2016 from the Auditor General regarding Audit Plan - 2017 to 2020.

The following resolution was presented:

AC2017-02 Reynolds/Kirwan: THAT the City of Greater Sudbury receives the report dated December 23, 2016 from the Auditor General's Office;

AND THAT the City of Greater Sudbury approves the Audit Plan for 2017 to 2020 as outlined in the report dated December 23, 2016 from the Auditor General's Office.
