1. To amend the Official Plan for the City of Greater Sudbury in order to provide for a site-specific exception to Section 5.2 – Rural Area Designation in order to permit a heavy industrial use in a Rural Area; and,
2. To amend By-law 2010-100Z being the Zoning By law for the City of Greater Sudbury by changing the zoning classification of the subject lands from “RU”, Rural to “RU(S)”, Rural Special.
The applications together would allow for a heavy industrial use to be located in a rural area in the form of a salvage or wrecking yard along with associated office space and accessory buildings and structures.
